Իսրայելի հարվածների արդյունքում մի քանի իրանցի միջուկային գիտնականներ են սպանվել, ասել է Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուն մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ։

Նեթանյահուն նշել է, որ Իրանի համար «մոտենում է ազատության նոր ուղի», և որ հանրապետության ապագան կախված է նրա քաղաքացիներից։

Ըստ վարչապետի՝ Թեհրանը կորուստներ է կրել Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսի և «Բասիջ» ռազմականացված ուժի շարքերում։

Բացի այդ, Իսրայելը ձգտում է կանխել Իրանի կողմից իր միջուկային և բալիստիկ հրթիռային նախագծերի ստորգետնյա տեղափոխումը։
