Ադրբեջանն ամեն դեպքում կռեալիզացնի «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» նախագիծը, եթե անգամ Հայաստանն ամբողջությամբ հրաժարվի դրան մասնակցելուց, քանի որ Բաքուն ունի «պլան Բ»։ Այս մասին ադրբեջանական և հունգարական հրատարակություններին տված համատեղ հարցազրույցում ասել է ԱՀ ԱԳՆ ղեկավար Ջեյհուն Բայրամովը։ Նրա խոսքով՝ եթե Հայաստանը, այնուամենայնիվ, հրաժարվի աշխատել այս ուղղությամբ, ապա «բաց կթողնի սեփական տնտեսությունը բարելավելու հնարավորությունը»։

«Ադրբեջանը կշարունակի աշխատել այս ուղղությամբ՝ ունենալով պլան Բ: Իսկ մեզ համար նախագիծը կիրականացվի նույնիսկ առանց Հայաստանի մասնակցության, սակայն այս դեպքում նա ​​ուղղակի դուրս կմնա շահառուների ցանկից»,- ասաց Բայրամովը:

Նա նաև նշել է, թե իբր «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը» տեղական լոգիստիկ համակարգի կարևոր տարր է։
