Երեկ «Ազատագրում» շարժումը շարունակում էր նախօրեին սկսած պայքարը, այս անգամ հանրահավաքը Հանրապետության հրապարակում էր, եւ, ակնհայտորեն, ավելի շատ մարդ էր մասնակցում, քան նախորդ օրը։ Ղեկավար կազմը՝ «Զարթոնք» եւ «5165» կուսակցությունները, նախ երթ արեցին Երեւանի համալսարանների մոտով, ապա ժամանեցին հրապարակ։

Երեկ նրանց էր միացել նաեւ լեգենդար հրամանատար Արկադի Տեր-Թադեւոսյանի՝ Կոմանդոսի հիմնած հասարակական կազմակերպությունը՝ «Քաղաքացիական խորհուրդը»: Հրապարակում մեծ թվով ուսանողներ, ուսուցիչներ ու դասախոսներ կային։ Ելույթ ունեցողները եւ հրապարակում հավաքվածները միակարծիք էին՝ չպետք է թույլ տանք, որ մեր անունից եւ մեր թիկունքում նոր փաստաթուղթ ստորագրվի։ Որոշել են հանրահավաքն ամենօրյա ռեժիմով անցկացնել։
