Հարցին՝ Բրյուսելում դեկտեմբերի 15-ին կայանալիք հանդիպմանը կքննարկվե՞ն գերիների վերադարձի վերաբերյալ հարցեր, Փաշինյանը պատասխանեց, թե կարևոր նրբություն է, որ փորձեն տարբեր ֆորմատներում քննարկվող օրակարգերը չխառնել մեկը մյուսին: «Չեմ կարծում, թե ճիշտ է ձևավորել ակնկալիք ամեն կոնկրետ հանդիպումից, ակնկալել արագ արդյունքներ: Կա լարվածություն և այդ լարվածությունը հաղթահարելու համար մենք պետք է բանակցենք, օգտագործենք բանակցությունների հնարավորությունները»:
