Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության գլխավոր տնօրեն Թեդրոս Ադհանոմ Գեբրեյեսուսը նախազգուշացրել է նոր վիրուսի հնարավոր ի հայտ գալու մասին, որը զսպել հնարավոր չի լինի: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ, այս մասին հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն:

«Բիոլոգիական տեսանկյունից կասկած չի հարուցում այն, որ ինչ-որ մի ժամանակ ի հայտ կգա մեկ այլ վիրուս, որը մենք պարզապես ի զորու չենք լինի զսպել»,- ասել է նա Մեծ քսանյակի (G20) երկրների առողջապահության ու ֆինանսների նախարարների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ:

Գեբրեյեսուսը նշել է, որ հարկավոր է դասեր քաղել ներկայիս համավարակից, որպեսզի կարողանանք պատրաստվել մյուսին:

ԱՀԿ ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ ներկայում իրենց նպատակն է մինչև տարեվերջ հասնել աշխարհի ցանկացած երկրի բնակչության առնվազն 40 տոկոսի՝ կորոնավիրուսի դեմ պատվաստմանը:
