Հոկտեմբերի 24-25-ը ԱՄՆ հայ համայնքը կազմակերպել էր հայկական ուտեստների եւ արվեստի փառատոն: Նպատակը հայկական խոհանոցը, արվեստն ու արհեստներն ամերիկյան հասարակությանը ներկայացնելը եւ հանրայնացնելն էր: Բացօթյա միջոցառմանը հարյուրավոր մասնակիցներ են եղել՝ հայ համայնքից, հարյուրավոր ամերիկացիներ, որոնց հետաքրքրել են Հայաստանը եւ նրա մշակույթը: Սակայն, մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ, միջոցառմանը չի մասնակցել դեսպան Լիլիթ Մակունցը, ինչը վիրավորել է միջոցառման կազմակերպիչներին, քանի որ նման մակարդակի միջոցառումներ համայնքում կազմակերպելը չափազանց բարդ է: Իսկ դեսպանը, որն առաջինը պետք է մասնակցեր, եթե ոչ կազմակերպեր, նման մասշտաբային միջոցառմանը գոնե ներկա գտնվելու ժամանակ չի գտել: Մինչդեռ այն տեղի է ունեցել դեսպանությունից ընդամենը 20 րոպեի հեռավորության վրա:
