Կորոնավիրուսը չի կարող վարակել մարդուն, քանի դեռ նա հիվանդ է գրիպով, այս մասին ասել է Ռուսաստանի Սեմաշկոյի անվան հիվանդանոցի ղեկավար, սրտաբան Զաուր Շուգուշևը «Իզվեստիա»-ին տված հարցազրույցում:

Նրա խոսքերով՝ եթե ռինովիրուսը առաջինը հարվածեց թոքերին, ապա կորոնավիրուսն այլևս չի կարող անցնել նրանց հյուսվածքով, թեև հազվադեպ վարակվելու հնարավորությունը նա չի բացառել:

«Եթե, այնուամենայնիվ, երկու վիրուս միաժամանակ մուտք գործեն մարդու օրգանիզմ, ապա հիվանդությունների ընթացքն էլ ավելի դժվար կլինի»,- ասել է բժիշկը։

Շուգուշևը կարծում է, որ COVID-19-ը չի կարող դուրս մղել գրիպը և «զբաղեցնել նրա տեղը»:
