Ռուսաստանի ժողովրդական արտիստ Իոսիֆ Կոբզոնը հայտնել է, որ պետք է Ալեկսանդրովի անվան համույթի հետ կործանված ինքնաթիռով մեկներ Սիրիա:

«14-ին ես նրանց հետ մեկտեղ համերգ ունեի Սյունազարդ դահլիճում, համույթի ղեկավար Խալիլովն ինձ խնդրեց իրենց հետ մեկնել Սիրիա, բայց ես ասացի, որ բուժման համար մեկնելու եմ արտերկիր, բացի այդ, ես նրանց հետ արդեն եղել էի Սիրիայում: Ես ասացի՝ մնա մեկ ուրիշ անգամ: Տեսաք, թե ինչ եղավ...»,- ասել է Կոբզոնը:

Նա ցավակցել է զոհերի հարազատներին եւ ընկերներին եւ կատարվածն իսկական ողբերգություն համարել:

Օդանավում զինվորականներից եւ Ալեքսանդրովի անվան համույթից եղել են նաեւ լրագրողներ, ինչպես նաեւ հայտնի բժիշկ «Արդար օգնություն» միջազգային կազմակերպության ղեկավար Ելիզավետա Գլինկան:
