«Իզվեստիա»-յի փոխանցմամբ՝ մահվան հավանականությունը կարելի է մեծացված համարել, եթե այդ ալիքի արագությունը գերազանցում է 13 մ\վ-ն, մինչդեռ երիտասարդ եւ միջին տարիքի մարդկանց համար այդ ցուցանիշի նորմը 5.5-8 մ\վ է:

Բացի այդ, գիտնականները պարզել են, որ կորոնավիրուսային վարակով հիվանդների դեպքում զարկերակային ալիքի արագությունը միջինում 1.89 մ\վ-ից բարձր է մնացածի համեմատ: Ըստ գիտնականների՝ հիվանդությունից մահացածների ալիքի արագությունը 1.89 մ\վ-ով ավելի բարձր էր, քան ողջ մնացածներինը: Ընդ որում, զարկերակային ալիքի արագության ավելացումը 1 մ\վ-ով կարող է հիվանդի մահվան հավանականությունը մեծացնել 14 տոկոսով:
