Гутерриш: неравенство в распределении вакцин ведет к появлению новых штаммов коронавируса

Генеральный секретарь ООН Антониу Гутерриш считает, что неравномерное распределение вакцин от коронавируса в мире приводит к развитию новых штаммов и продолжению экономического спада, передает ТАСС. 

«Неравенство [в распределении] вакцин позволяет развиваться и разрастаться новым вариантам COVID-19, обрекая мир на еще большие жертвы и продолжая экономический спад», - написал он в воскресенье в своем Twitter.

По его словам, «без скоординированного и равного подхода не будет устойчивого сокращения числа случаев [инфицирования] ни в одной стране».
