Մոսկվան հույս ունի, որ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների այցը կնպաստի Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հանդիպման կազմակերպմանը։ Այդ մասին ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ ասել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ տեղեկատվության և տպագրության դեպարտամենտի տնօրենի տեղակալ Ալեքսեյ Զայցևը՝ մեկնաբանելով Ադրբեջանի նախագահի հայտարարությունը ՀՀ վարչապետի հետ հանդիպելու պատրաստակամության մասին։

«Ռուսաստանը միշտ հիմք է ընդունել այն, որ մշտական երկխոսությունը, հատկապես՝ ամենաբարձր մակարդակում,  նպաստում է փոխըմբռնման և խնդրահարույց հարցերի լուծման կառուցողական մթնոլորտի պահպանմանը: Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հետ Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի ինտենսիվ շփումների շնորհիվ հնարավոր եղավ դադարեցնել արյունահեղությունը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում, ստորագրել եռակողմ հայտարարություն, որը հիմք դրեց տարածաշրջանում խաղաղ կյանքի հաստատմանը»,-ասել է նա:
