«Ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանի մուտքը քաղաքականություն և ամբողջ օրակարգը համակարգվելու է երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի կողմից։ Սեյրան Օհանյանը հանդես է գալու, որպես պրոքոչարյանական բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերի և գործիչների միավորման առանցք՝ Օսկանյանը, Դեմկուսի առաջնորդ Արամ Գ. Սարգսյանը։ Չի բացառվում, որ առաջիկայում ոմանք ՀՀԿ-ից դուրս գան և միանան այս շարժմանը։

Մեր տեղեկություններով՝ Վարդան Օսկանյանին հաջողվել է համոզել Քոչարյանին, որ շարժմանը պետք է միանա նաև Վիկտոր Դալլաքյանը։ Ստացվում է, որ ոչ թե Սեյրան Օհանյանն է միանում գործող քաղաքական ուժերին, այլ այդ ուժերն են միանում Սեյրան Օհանյանին։
