Կորոնավիրուսից արդյունավետ պաշտպանվելու համար անհրաժեշտ կլինի ավելացնել պատվաստանյութերի դեղաչափերի քանակը։ Նման առաջարկ է արել ԱՄՆ նախագահի՝ բժշկական հարցերով գլխավոր խորհրդական Էնթոնի Ֆաուչին The Telegraph-ին տված հարցազրույցում:

Նրա խոսքով՝ դա վերաբերում է мРНК պատվաստանյութերին, ինչպես օրինակ՝ Pfizer ։ Ֆաուչին կարծում է, որ նման դեղամիջոցները կպահանջեն սկզբում երկու բաղադրիչի ներարկում՝ 2-3 շաբաթ, իսկ մի քանի ամիս անց երրորդ պատվաստումը պետք է արվի:

Միեւնույն ժամանակ, նա նշել է, որ այս պահին հայտնի չէ, թե արդյոք անհրաժեշտ կլինի երրորդ դեղաչափը երեխաներին պատվաստելիս:
