На Камчатке вертолет упал в озеро: погибли 8 человек

Вертолет Ми-8 компании «Витязь-Аэро», в котором находилось 16 человек, в том числе 13 пассажиров, упал в Курильское озеро в Кроноцком заповеднике на Камчатке, и сейчас находится на глубине 135 метров, сообщают РИА Новости. 

Глубина затопления упавшего вертолета не позволяет водолазам опуститься к нему, так как оборудование МЧС рассчитано на глубину лишь до 20 метров.

«Дальнейшие решения будет принимать оперативный штаб Камчатского края», - сообщил журналистам представитель ГУ МЧС региона.

Восемь пострадавших доставлены авиацией в Петропавловск-Камчатский. По данным авиакомпании «Витязь-Аэро», еще восемь человек, находившиеся в вертолете, пока не найдены.
