Նոր խորհրդարանի ձեւավորումից հաշված օրեր առաջ Ազգային ժողովում անվտանգության խիստ միջոցառումներ են ձեռնարկվել։ Նաեւ լրացուցիչ միջոցներ են հատկացվել՝ մոտ 130 միլիոն դրամի։ Մասնավորապես՝ դահլիճի մուտքերի մոտ տեղադրվել են կամարաձեւ ռենտգեն սարքեր, բոլոր պատգամավորները դահլիճ մուտք գործելիս այսուհետ ստիպված կլինեն անցնել դրանց միջով։ Մինչեւ վերջերս նման սարքերը տեղադրված էին խորհրդարանի երկու մուտքերի՝ Բաղրամյանի եւ Դեմիրճյանի անցակետերում միայն։

ԱԺ նախագահ դառնալուց հետո Արարատ Միրզոյանը նման մի սարք նաեւ իր աշխատասենյակի մուտքի մոտ տեղադրեց, հիմա հերթը դահլիճի մուտքերինն է։ Թե ինչից է վախենում իշխանությունը, իսկ ավելի կոնկրետ՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, կարելի է միայն կռահել։ Այսուհետ իրենց խորհրդարանական գործընկերները ոչ թե կոմֆորմիստ ԲՀԿ-ն ու ԼՀԿ-ն են, այլ ռադիկալ «Հայաստան» եւ «Պատիվ ունեմ» դաշինքները, որոնց անդամների մի մասին այդ նույն Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը բանտ է նստեցրել։
