Պատերազմից հետո ակտիվ քննարկվում էր Շուշիի բանկերում մնացած փողերի հարցը։ Նոյեմբերի 7-ին Շուշիի մատույցներում արված լուսանկարներում բազմաթիվ ինկասացիոն ավտոմեքենաներ էին երեւում, եւ համոզմունք կար, որ մերոնք ավելի ժրաջան տեղափոխում են դրամական միջոցները, քան արվեստի գործերը։ Այժմ լուրեր կան, որ ադրբեջանցիները հայկական դրամի վաճառքով են զբաղված՝ 100 հազար դրամը վաճառում են 100 դոլարով։

Արցախի մեր աղբյուրը հավատացրեց, որ խոսքը մեծ գումարների մասին չէ, դրամի առաջարկն արել են Հադրութում գտնվող ադրբեջանցի զինվորականները, սակայն մեկ շաբաթ անց հետաքրքրվողներին պատասխանել են, որ առաջարկն ուժի մեջ չէ։ Հետո պարզվել է, որ նրանք ռուսների միջոցով Արցախի խանութներից սնունդ եւ այլ ապրանքներ են գնել։
