Всемирно известный армянский музыкант, непревзойденный мастер дудука Дживан Гаспарян скончался на 93-м году жизни. О смерти сообщил внук и полный тезка маэстро.

"С  глубокой болью пишу о своей большой потере. Да упокоит Бог твою душу на небесах", - написал Гаспарян-младший в Facebook.

Дживан Гаспарян был одним из самых известных исполнителей музыки на дудуке.

Гаспарян – лауреат премии "Золотой Глобус". Работал со многими известными музыкантами, среди них: Андреас Фолленвайдер, Лайонел Ричи, Стинг, Питер Гэбриел, Ханс Циммер, Брайан Мэй, Борис Гребенщиков, Ирина Аллегрова, Владимир Пресняков, Игорь Крутой, Майкл Брук и Дерек Шериньян.

В последнее время музыкант жил в США.
