24-ամյա Դանիել Դևիսը հրաժարվել է դադարեցնել հղիությունը, երբ հերթական ստուգման ժամանակ բժիշկները պարզել են, որ երեխայի ուղեղի վրա առկա է կիստա։   Երեխան ծնվել է և բժիշկները ծնողներին հայտնել են, որ երեխայի մոտ առկա է հազվադեպ պատահող խանգարում՝ Anophthalmia, ինչը նշանակում է, որ երեխան աչքեր չունի։
2738986300000578_0_image_m_43_1427975812053Այս խանգարումն անբուժելի է և Դեյզին, ինչպես անվանել են փոքրիկին, երբեք չի տեսնի։ Երբ երեխան մեծանա, հնարավոր է տեղադրել ապակե աչքեր։   Չնայած այս ամենին, Դանիել Դևիսը, ով արդեն ուներ 2 տղա, ասում է, որ իր փոքրիկն ուղղակի հրաշք է։
