Տպավորություն է, որ Հայաստանի 2-րդ եւ 3-րդ նախագահներն անզիջում պայքարի են դուրս եկել ինչպես իշխանության, այնպես էլ միմյանց դեմ։ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանն անձամբ է մտել պայքարի մեջ, քանի որ գլխավորում է դաշինքի ցուցակը, իսկ Սերժ Սարգսյանը վերջին օրերին է կտրուկ ակտիվացել՝ հարուցելով շատերի զարմանքը։

Քոչարյանականների ճամբարում քննարկում են, որ Սերժ Սարգսյանին զայրացրել է Քոչարյանի մեսիջը, երբ Աշտարակում հայտարարեց, թե իշխանության գալով՝ դեռ պետք է պարզի՝ այդ ինչպես ստացվեց, որ 10 հոգով Գյումրիից քայլելով եկան Երեւան եւ հեղափոխություն արին։ Հաջորդ օրվանից Սերժ Սարգսյանն անձամբ սկսեց մասնակցել քարոզարշավին՝ անխնա քննադատելով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին։
