ՀՀ ՊՆ-ն հայտարարություն է տարածել, որում ասված է. «Ադրբեջանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտարարություն է տարածել, թե իբր հայկական ստորաբաժանումները գնդակոծել են ադրբեջանական դիրքերը, ինչը հերթական ապատեղեկատվությունն է։

Հայկական ստորաբաժանումները ոչ թե գնդակոծել են Ադրբեջանի տարածքում գտնվող մարտական դիրքերը, այլ միջոցներ ձեռնարկել՝ Հայաստանի սահմանային հատվածում ադրբեջանական ԶՈՒ կողմից իրականացվող ինժեներական աշխատանքները դադարեցնելու ուղղությամբ։  Մասնավորապես, հունիսի 11-ին Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերը հերթական անգամ փորձել են ինժեներական աշխատանքներ իրականացնել Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Կութ գյուղի սահմանային հատվածում։ Հայկական ստորաբաժանումները դիմել են հակազդման գործողությունների, ինչից հետո ինժեներական աշխատանքները դադարեցվել են»։
