Կանադայի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերի կողմից 6 հայ զինծառայողների գերեվարման և հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին պահպանվող լարվածության կապակցությամբ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է Կանադայի ԱԳՆ «Թվիթեր»-ի պաշտոնական միկրոբլոգում հրապարակվել է հետևյալ գրառումը.

«Կանադան մտահոգված է ադրբեջանցի զինվորականների կողմից 6 հայ զինծառայողների գերեվարմամբ և հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին պահպանվող լարվածությամբ: Մենք կոչ ենք անում բոլոր հարցերը լուծել խաղաղ բանակցությունների միջոցով՝ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակում»:
