Օրգանիզմում D վիտամինի մակարդակն իրականում չի ազդում կորոնավիրուսով վարակվելու հավանականության վրա։ Այս մասին տեղեկացվում է JAMA Network Open ամսագրում հրապարակված նոր հետազոտությունում։

Մասնագետների խումբը՝ Quest Diagnostics ընկերության գիտական տնօրեն Լի Յունհուանի ղեկավարությամբ, պարզել է, որ D վիտամինի մակարդակը նորմայից ցածր է եղել կորոնավիրուսի նախկին կրողների մոտ 65 տոկոսի մոտ, ընդ որում՝ վիտամինի լուրջ անբավարարություն է նկատվել COVID-19-ը հաղթահարածների մոտ 29 տոկոսի մոտ։

Վերլուծությունը նաեւ ցույց է տվել, որ օրգանիզմում վիտամինների շատ ցածր մակարդակը բնորոշ է եղել դիաբետ, ճարպակալում, հիպերտոնիա ունեցող պացիենտների, ինչպես նաեւ ծխողների ու ոչ շարժուն կենսակերպ վարողների համար։

Գիտնականների խոսքով՝ դիտարկումների արդյունքները կասկածի տակ են դնում տեսությունները, որոնք վիրուսի տարածման ոչ միանման արագությունը տարբեր երկրներում եւ առանձին պետություններում կապում են տեղի բնակիչների օրգանիզմում D վիտամինի տիպիկ խտության լոկալ տարբերությունների հետ։
