2017 թվականից սկսած Ռուսաստան ժամանող բոլոր օտարերկրացիները պարտադիր կերպով դակտիլոսկոպիայի՝ մատնահետքերի նույնականացման են ենթարկվելու: Այս մասին տեղեկացրել է Ռուսաստանի ներքին գործերի նախարարությունը:

Այդ հարցի շուրջ մոտ օրերս համապատասխան քննարկումներ են անցկացվելու այլ երկրների եւ, մասնավորապես՝ ԱՊՀ երկրների ՆԳՆ-ների և ԱԳՆ-ների հետ: Ռուսաստան ժամանող օտարերկրացիների գերակշիռ մասն ԱՊՀ անդամ երկրների քաղաքացիներ են:

Մինչ այժմ Ռուսաստանում դակտիլոսկոպիայի էին ենթարկվում միայն աշխատանքի թույլտվություն ստանալու դիմում ներկայացրած օտարերկրացիները:
