Հարավային Քվինսլենդի համալսարանի աստղաֆիզիկայի կենտրոնի աստղագետները հայտարարել են նոր մոլորակի հայտնաբերման մասին: Այս մասին գրում է korrespondent.net կայքը:

Երկնային մարմինն արդեն ստացել է TOI-1431b անվանումը: Այն գտնվում է Երկրից 490 լուսային տարի հեռավորության վրա:

«Սա տաք մոլորակների շատ հազվագյուտ տեսակ է: Այնտեղ ոչ մի կենդանի օրգանիզմ չի գոյատևի»,-նշել է աստղաֆիզիկոս Բրեթ Ադիսոնը:

Հետազոտողները պնդում են, որ մոլորակը 3 անգամ մեծ է Յուպիտերից, և նրա մթնոլորտը տաքանում է`հասնելով ռեկորդային 2700 աստիճան` ըստ Ցելսիուսի սանդղակի: Գիշերը ջերմաստիճանը 2300 աստիճան է: Դա պայմանավորված է նրանով, որ մոլորակն իր առանցքի շուրջ պտտվում է 2,5 օրում:
