Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի համար Հայաստան պետության գոյությունը ինչպես 1918 թվականին, այնպես էլ հիմա անթույլատրելի է. թուրքագետ

Թուրքագետ Վարուժան Գեղամյանը գրում է.

«Էրդողանի այսօրվա ելույթի, թերևս, ամենակարևոր միտքը. «Մի դար առաջ այն տարածքում, ուր ներկայիս Հայաստանն է, բնակչության 80 տոկոսից ավելին մուսուլմաններն էին։ Այսօր գրեթե ոչ մեկ չի մնացել։ Որևէ տեղ հայերի մեծ գերեզման չեք կարող հանդիպել»։
Այս միտքը հատուկ եմ առանձնացնում, որպեսզի ևս մեկ անգամ հիշեցնեմ պարզ ճշմարտություն. Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի համար Հայաստան պետության գոյությունը ինչպես 1918 թվականին, այնպես էլ հիմա անթույլատրելի է, ուստի այս տարածքում մեր՝ հայերիս ապրելը ևս անընդունելի է։ Հենց այս պետությունների առջև են ծնկել Հայաստանի դե ֆակտո թուրքամետ իշխանությունները՝ մեզ տանելով նոր կործանման, որպեսզի Հայաստանի տարածքում էլ հայ չմնա»։
