Премьер-министр и президент Армении посетили Цицернакаберд

Премьер-министр Армении Никол Пашинян, президент Армен Саркисян и спикер парламента Арарат Мирзоян посетили мемориальный комплекс "Цицернакаберд".

Руководящие лица почтили память жертв Геноцида армян в Османской империи минутой молчания и возложили венки к вечному огню.

На церемонии присутствовали также вице-премьеры, вице-спикеры, члены кабинета министров и ряд других высокопоставленных лиц.

Геноцид армян в Османской империи – первый геноцид XX века. Несмотря на то, что этот факт признан многими странами, Турция – правопреемница Османской империи, традиционно отвергает обвинения в Геноциде армян.
