 Մադրիդի «Ռեալի» պորտուգալացի հարձակվող Կրիշտիանու Ռոնալդուն Չեմպիոնների լիգայում տարած հաղթանակում կարեւորել է երկրպագուների դերը:

«Շատ եմ ցանկանում նշել, որ առանց ձեր աջակցության մենք չէինք հաղթի Չեմպիոնների լիգայում եւ նվաճի այս հրաշալի գավաթը: Հպարտ եմ, որ ֆուտբոլ եմ խաղում «Ռեալի» համազգեստով: Շատ երջանիկ եմ եւ ցանկանում եմ երգել: Այսպես հաղթում է «Ռեալը»,- Մադրիդի «Սանտյագո Բերնաբեու» ստադիոնում անցկացված չեմպիոնական տոնախմբությանն ասել է Ռոնալդուն, հայտնում է Daily Mail-ը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Միլանի «Սան Սիրո» ստադիոնում կայացած եզրափակիչում Արքայական ակումբը հետխաղյա 11 մետրանոցներով հաղթել էր Մադրիդի «Աթլետիկոյին»: Խաղի հիմնական եւ ավելացված ժամանակն ավարտվել էր 1:1 հաշվով: 11 մետրանոց հարվածաշարում հաղթական 11 հարվածն իրացրել էր հենց Ռոնալդուն:
