Группа сотрудников Соткского рудника 19 апреля провела  акцию протеста, перекрыв дорогу, ведущую к нему.

Протестующие жалуются на то, что длительное время не получают зарплату. По словам участников акции, директор Золотоносного рудника Зода обманывает их и не выдает зарплату. «Мы работали, осуществили, например, 1400 рейсов, проехали 3500 км, за что должны были получить 300-3500000 драмов, этот человек дает нам 120000 драмов», - заявил один из протестующих, добавив, что вот уже 7 месяцев они сталкиваются с данной проблемой, но решения пока нет.
