Հայաստանի դատախազությունը հանրային քննարկման է ներկայացրել Վարչական իրավախախտումների վերաբերյալ օրենսգրքում լրացում կատարելու մասին օրենսդրական նախագիծը, որով առաջարկում է հասարակական վայրերում, զանգվածային լրատվության միջոցներով կամ համացանցային կայքերով (այդ թվում՝ սոցիալական ցանցերով) խոսքի, պատկերի, նշանի կամ այլ միջոցով հրապարակային հայհոյանքը կամ ցանկացած ձեւով անպարկեշտ վիրավորանքը դիտարկել որպես վարչական իրավախախտում եւ դրա հեղինակին տուգանել 100-150 հազար դրամի չափով: Նախատեսված արարքը վարչական տույժ նշանակելուց հետո` մեկ տարվա ընթացքում, կրկին կատարելու դեպքում տուգանքը կկազմի 150-300 հազար դրամ։ Դատախազությունը կարծում է, որ հրապարակային հայհոյանքով «խաթարվում են սոցիալական բնական հարաբերությունները, հասարակական համերաշխությունը»։
