«Արցախի հերոս, այս իշխանությունների կողմից հետապնդումների ենթարկված եւ անցած տարի մահկանացուն կնքած ԵԿՄ նախկին նախագահ, գեներալ Մանվել Գրիգորյանի այրին՝ Նազիկ Ամիրյանը, որոշել է մի խումբ համախոհների, ազատամարտիկների հետ նոր ԵԿՄ ստեղծել։

Կազմակերպության անունը դնելու են «Հինգերորդ բրիգադ» ՀԿ։ Սա այն լեգենդար բրիգադն էր, որն արցախյան առաջին պատերազմի ժամանակ ղեկավարում էր Մանվել Գրիգորյանը եւ որը մեր հաղթանակների սիմվոլներից էր։ Մեզ ասացին՝ արդեն իսկ անդամագրվողների հոսք կա դեպի նոր ձեւավորվող կառույցը, այդ թվում՝ Սասուն Միքայելյանի «Երկրապահից», սակայն Նազիկ Ամիրյանը ԵԿՄ անդամներին հորդորել է դուրս չգալ, կուռ պահել կառույցը, որ այն չպառակտվի։ Ասել է՝ անկախ այսօրվա ղեկավարությունից՝ ԵԿՄ-ն պետք է միշտ գործի»,-գրում է թերթը:
