Նոյեմբերի 21-ին 88 տարեկան հասակում վախճանվել Է իռլանդացի գրող եւ դրամատուրգ Ուիլյամ Թրեւորը: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Twitter-ի իր Էջում այս մասին հաղորդել Է Penguin Random House հրատարակչության տարածաշրջանային ստորաբաժանումը:

Թրեւորին համարում Էին գրականության գծով Նոբելյան մրցանակի թեկնածուներից մեկը: Գրողը նաեւ երեք անգամ դարձել Է բրիտանական Costa գրական մրցանակի հաղթող եւ չորս անգամ գրանցվել Է Բուքերյան մրցանակի համառոտ ցանկում: 

Նրա ստեղծագործությունների թվում են «Սահմանագծից այն կողմ» պատմվածքների ժողովածուն, «Ճակատագրի խորթերը» վեպը, «Իռլանդիայի գրական լանդշաֆտը» մենագրությունը: Թրեւորի որոշ գործեր Էկրանավորվել են:

2004 թվականին նրա հայրենի Միթչելսթաուն ավանում կանգնեցվել Է գրողի հուշարձանը:
