Արցախյան պատերազմում զոհվել է օպերային երգիչ Գագիկ Խաչատուրյանը: Այս մասին հայտնում են Երեւանի պետական կոնսերվատորիայի ֆեյսբուքյան էջում:

«Խոր վշտով հայտնում ենք, որ Հայրենիքի համար մղվող պատերազմում անմահացել է ԵՊԿ շրջանավարտ Գագիկ Խաչատուրյանը։ Գագիկ Խաչատուրյանը սովորել է Երևանի Կոմիտասի անվան պետական կոնսերվատորիայի Ակադեմիական երգեցողության բաժնում (սկզբում՝ պրոֆեսոր Սվետլանա Կոլոսարյանի, այնուհետև՝ դոցենտ Առնոլդ Քոչարյանի դասարանում):

2019 թվականին պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայության էր զորակոչվել Արցախ, ծառայում էր Մեխակավանում։ Նրա աճյունը գտնվեց պատերազմից միայն 5 ամիս անց։

5 ամիս շարունակ նրա բոլոր ընկերները, հարազատներն ու հարազատ բուհը սպասում էին նրա վերադարձին, սակայն հրաշք տեղի չունեցավ։

Մեր ցավակցություններն ենք հայտնում Գագիկ Խաչատուրյանի ընտանիքին, հարազատներին, դասախոսներին ու ընկերներին»։
