РИА Новости-ին տված հարցազրույցում ՀՀ արտգործանախարարին հարց է ուղղվել Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների, երկու երկրների արտգործնախարարների հանդիպումների հավանականության մասին: 

«Մենք երբեք չենք հրաժարվում հանդիպումներից։ Սակայն ցանկացած հանդիպում, եթե այն չի կազմակերպվում միայն անցկացումն արձանագրելու համար, պետք է որոշակի չափանիշների համապատասխանի։ Առաջին հերթին խոսքը համապատասխան մթնոլորտի ստեղծման, հստակ օրակարգի ձևավորման մասին է: Պակաս կարևոր չէ նաև, որ այն պետք է անցկացվի մյուս կողմի բանակցելու համաձայնության առկայության դեպքում»,- հայտարարել է Արա Այվազյանը:
