Բժիշկ և հեռուստահաղորդավար Ալեքսանդր Մյասնիկովը «Ռոսիա 1» հեռուստաալիքի եթերում ցրել է առասպելն այն մասին, որ սուրճը չի կարելի խմել սրտի հետ կապված խնդիրներով տառապող մարդկանց, հայտնում է ՌԻԱ նովոստին։ 

Բժիշկը հիշեցրել է, որ սուրճի նորմալ սպառումը օրական երկու– երեք բաժակ է: Բացառություն են լյարդի խնդիրներ ունեցող մարդիկ, որոնց կարելի է խմել չորս գավաթ, քանի որ սուրճը, Մյասնիկովի խոսքով, բուժիչ ազդեցություն է ունենում այդ օրգանի վրա:

Մյասնիկովը նշել է խմիչքի դրական ազդեցությունը այնպիսի հիվանդությունների դեպքում, ինչպիսիք են պոդագրան, Պարկինսոնի հիվանդությունը և օստեոպորոզը: Նա հիշեցրել է նաև սուրճի հակաքաղցկեղային հատկությունների մասին։

Բացի այդ, բժիշկը հերքել է լուծվող սուրճի վնասակար լինելու մասին տեղեկատվությունը։
