ՀՀ արդարադատության նախարար Արփինե Հովհաննիսյանը խոստովանում է, որ գեղեցկությունը որոշակի խոչընդոտ է եղել իր համար։
«Առաջին դեմքից» հաղորդման շրջանակներում՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե գեղեցկությունն օգնե՞լ, թե՞ խանգարել է Ձեզ կարիերայի առաջընթացում, նախարարը պատասխանել է.
 
«Կար փուլ, երբ ես առհասարակ նշում էի, որ ոչ օգնել, ոչ խանգարել է։
Ժամանակի ընթացքում առավելապես հակված եմ կարծելու, չէի բնութագրի այդքան կոշտ՝ խանգարել, բայց լրացուցիչ խոչընդոտ է եղել՝ հաղահարելու որոշակի կարծրատիպեր, որոնք ուզենք, թե չուզենք այս հասարակության մեջ առկա են։ Իսկ առհասարակ գեղեցկությունը խնդիր է երկու դեպքում. երբ բացի դրանից ուրիշ ոչինչ չկա կամ, երբ այն ընդհանրապես չկա»։
