Թուրքիայում այսօր մեկ ժամվա ընթացքում 3 երկրաշարժ է գրանցվել։ Ermrnihaber–ը հայտնում է, որ Էգեյան ծովի մերձափնյա Իզմիրի նահանգի Քարաբուրունի շրջանում մեկ ժամում իրար հաջորդող 3 ցնցում է եղել` 4.1, 5.1 և 4.8 մագնիտուդ ուժգնությամբ:

Ցնցումները, որոնք զգացվել նաև հարակից շրջաններում, բնակչության շրջանում խուճապի պատճառ են դարձել:

Թուրքիայի աղետների և արտակարգ իրավիճակների կառավարման վարչության (AFAD) տեղեկացմամբ` ստորգետնյա ցնցումները գրանցվել են փետրվարի 1-ին տեղական ժամանակով 08:03-ին, 08:46-ին և 08:47-ին:

Երկրաշարժերի էպիկենտրոնները գտնվել են 24, 20 և 7 կմ խորությունների վրա։
