«Շուշիի մասին հայտարարությանը խորը նայեք։ Դա հակաՀայաստանի հաղթական հարվածն է կապիտուլացված Հայաստանին։ Դա հայկական ինքնության ու Արտաշես Ա-ից մինչև Մոնթե Մելքոնյան հայոց ազգային նախագծի վերացման փորձ է։ Պատկերացրե՛ք, որ հայրը որդուն պատմի, որ նախքան իրենց ընտանիքի ստեղծումը տան մայրն ընկերություն է արել հարևանի հետ՝ համբուրվելու գնալով Մոնումենտի այգի։ Փաստական առումով դա ճիշտ կլինի, բայց որ պահից ընտանիքում նման տեքստ հնչեց, այդ ընտանիքը՝ որպես գաղափար, կդադարի գոյություն ունենալ։ Չկա սրբազան գաղափար առանց տաբուների։ Եթե հայոց խորհրդարանում Շուշիի հայկականությունը «թավշյա» կասկածի տակ է դրվում, ուրեմն հայոց նախագիծը պարտված է, իսկ Հայաստանը՝ էութենական առումով օկուպացված։
