Ուսումնասիրություններ են կատարվել Կապանի օդանավակայանի վարչական շենքի և թռիչքուղիների տարածքներում, որոնց անմիջական հարևանությամբ են գտնվում ադրբեջանական տեղակայման վայրերը:
Ուսումնասիրությունները վկայում են, որ վտանգներ են առաջացել ոչ միայն Կապանի օդանավակայանի, այլ նաև Կապանից Երևան տանող (Մ2) միջպետական ճանապարհով տեղաշարժի ու Կապան քաղաքի մի շարք բնակելի վայրերի համար:
Կապան քաղաքի օդանավակայանի և մի շարք գյուղերի տարածքներում Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմի այցի ընթացքում հենց տեղում Գուգլ (Google) և առցանց քարտեզների մի քանի այլ տարբերակներ ցույց են տվել տարբեր արդյունք, այդ թվում՝ մի քանի դեպքում Կապանից Ճակատեն գյուղ տանող ճանապարհը, ինչպես նաև Կապանի օդանավակայանի այն հատվածները, որոնցում տեղակայված են ադրբեջանական ուժերը, ամբողջությամբ ներկայացնելով Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածքի մասեր:
