«Մեզ հայտի դարձավ, որ Արդարադատության ակադեմիայի ռեկտոր Ռուբեն Մելիքյանը դառնալու է ԼՂՀ Մարդու իրավունքների նոր պաշտպանը։ Մելիքյանը, ի դեպ, երեկ Արցախում էր և հանդիպում էր ԼՂՀ խորհրդարանական խմբակցությունների հետ։
Հիշեցնենք, որ անցած շաբաթ հրաժարական Էր տվել ԼՂՀ Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Յուրի Հայրապետյանը։ Ռուբեն Մելիքյանը մեզ հետ հեռախոսազրույցում, պատասխանելով հարցին, թե իսկապե՞ս ինքն Է լինելու ԼՂՀ նոր օմբուդսմենը ասաց. «Ես չեմ կարող դա պաշտոնապես հաստատել»։ Նա նաև հավելեց, որ այժմ ինքն արձակուրդում ե իսկ ԼՂՀ Ազգային ժողովի «Հայրենիք» խմբակցության ղեկավար Արթուր Թովմասյանն Էլ մեզ հետ հեռախոսազրույցում հաստատեց, որ խորհրդարանում Ռուբեն Մելիքյանի հետ հանդիպումներ են ընթանում»,–գրում է թերթը։
