Իր հերթին, ԱՄՆ Emerson հիվանդանոցի ալերգոլոգ, բժիշկ Սառա Նարայանը պնդում է, որ չոր հազը կարող է ոչ միայն կորոնավիրուսի, այլեւ ասթմայի, ալերգիայի եւ գաստրոէզոֆագեալ ռեֆլյուքսի ախտանիշ լինել:

Ըստ նրա` չոր հազի դեպքում պետք է ուշադրություն դարձնել խզզոցի առկայությանը. այս ախտանիշը բնորոշ է ասթմային, իսկ խզզոց COVID-19-ով հիվանդների մոտ գրեթե չի հանդիպում: Իսկ եթե այդպիսի հազն ալերգիայի հետեւանք է, ապա այն պետք է անհետանա հակահիստամինային միջոցներ ընդունելուց հետո:

Սակայն պետք է հաշվի առնել, որ հազն անհրաժեշտ է գնահատել այլ դրսեւորումների եւ ախտանիշների հետ միասին, նշում են մասնագետները:
