Մեծ Բրիտանիայի Աբերիստվիտ համալսարանի գիտնականները համոզված են, որ կլիմայական փոփոխությունների պատճառով, Ալպերի սառցադաշտերի 92%-ը կհալվի մինչև 2050 թվականը: Նյութը վերցրել ենք womo.ua կայքից:

Տվյալների համաձայն՝ կարող է հալվել լեռնաշղթայի շուրջ 4 հազար սառցադաշտ, այդ թվում՝ հանրահայտ լեռնադահուկային հանգստավայրերը՝ Շվեյցարիայի Ցերմատը և Ֆրանսիայի Տենը:

Հետազոտողներն իրենց տվյալների մեջ ընդգրկում են Ալպերի ողջ տարածաշրջանը՝ հիմնվելով 1901-2100 թվականներն ընկած ժամանակաշրջանում կլիմայի փոփոխության տվյալների և կանխատեսումների վրա:

Գիտնականների կանխատեսումների համաձայն՝ մինչև 2050 թվականը Ալպերի՝ 3500 մետրից ցածր գրեթե բոլոր սառցադաշտերը կհալվեն: Դա կհանգեցնի լեռնադահուկային հանգստավայրերի և արգելոցների անկմանը, ինչպես նաև վնաս կհասցնի գյուղատնտեսությանն ու ջրամատակարարման համակարգերին:
