Քիմ Քարդաշյանը և նրա ամուսին Քանյե Ուեսթն աշխատանքից ազատել են թիկնապահ Պասկալ Դյուվյեին, որը նրանց մոտ աշխատել է չորս տարի։ Նման որոշում զույգը կայացրել է այն բանից հետո, երբ Քիմը Փարիզի հյուրանոցներից մեկում ենթարկվել է զինված հարձակման։ Այս մասին հաղորդում է Entertainment Tonight-ը՝ վկայակոչելով իր աղբյուրներին։

Հարձակման գիշերը Պասկալը հյուրանոցում չի եղել, այլ Քիմի քույրերին ուղեկցել է գիշերային ակումբ։ Աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ՝ Քիմը տեղի ունեցածի համար չի մեղադրում Պասկալին, քանի որ Փարիզի հյուրանոցում իրեցն լիովին անվտանգ էր զգում։ Զույգը որոշել է աշխատանքից ազատել անվտանգության բոլոր աշխատակիցներին, ոչ միայն Պասկալին։

43-ամյա Դյուվյեն Քանյե Ուեսթի հետ աշխատում էր 2012թ․, իսկ 2013թ․ ամենուր ուղեկցում էր Քիմին և շատ հաճախ հայտնվում պապարացիների կադրում։
