Ինչպես հայտնում է The New York Daily News-ը, 2 տասնամյակից ավելի ուրիշի փոխարեն ճաղերի հետևում պատիժ կրող Դիքոնն ազատ է արձակվել, երբ պարզվել է, որ 1989թ. իրականացված սպանության մեղավորն ուրիշն է:

Աղբյուրը մանրամասնում է, որ 61-ամյա ամերիկացին ազատազրկվել էր ոմն Էնթոնի Վինին կողոպտելու և սպանելու մեղադրանքի հիման վրա: Նշվում է, որ տղամարդու դեմ կեղծ ցուցմունք էր տվել սպանության գլխավոր վկան, սակայն տարիներ անց պարզվել է իրական մարդասպանի ինքնությունը:
