«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է.

Թեեւ անցած շաբաթ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը շտապեց իր խորհրդական Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանին պաշտպանության նախարար կարգել, սակայն պաշտպանական գերատեսչությունում անիշխանության մթնոլորտ է։

Բանն այն է, որ նորաթուխ նախարարը 7 օրվա ընթացքում դեռ չի հավաքել աշխատակազմին, չի խոսել առաջիկա մարտահրավերների, քաղաքականության մասին։ Գլխատված է նաեւ ՊՆ ողջ ղեկավարությունը․ ՊՆ-ում այս պահի դրությամբ չկա փոխնախարար, մինչդեռ փոխնախարարի չորս հաստիք կա, փոխնախարարներից երկուսը մինչպատերազմական ժամանակներում են հեռացել, իսկ երկուսը՝ Գաբրիել Բալայանն ու Մակար Ղամբարյանը, հրաժարական տվեցին Դավիթ Տոնոյանի հեռանալուց հետո։
