Հայկական և ադրբեջանական կողմերի գերիների, վիրավորների փոխանակման վերաբերյալ աշխատանքների մասին Ամատունին նշեց. «Մենք մեր մասով վերահաստատել ենք մեր պատրաստակամությունը՝ ներգրավվելու այս հարցում, մենք պատրաստ ենք և քննարկում ենք հնարավորությունները, բայց այս պահին կողմերից է շատ բան կախված: Հիմա ընթացքն ավելի շատ քննարկումների մակարդակներում է, բայց գործընթացի մասին դեռ ոչինչ չկա»:
