Ռուսաստանում Ադրբեջանի դեսպան Փոլատ Բյուլբյուլօղլուն հայտարարել է, թե ռուսական ուղղաթիռի խոցման պատճառների մասին դեռ վերջնական եզրակացություններ չկան, իսկ փոխհատուցման չափը որոշված չէ:

«Պատերազմը պատերազմ է: Ամեն ինչ էլ կարող է պատահել». հավելել է Բյուլբյուլօղլուն:

ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ն արձագանքել է դեպասանի հայտարարությանը` նշելով. «Ելնում ենք այն կանխավարկածից, որ ադրբեջանական կողմն իրեն այլևս թույլ չի տա որևէ բազմանշանակ հայտարարություն՝ ռուսական ուղղաթիռի հետ կապված ողբերգական միջադեպի առթիվ»
