Իրանի բանակի ցամաքային ուժերի հրամանատար Քիոմարս Հեյդարին  հայտարարել է, որ Իրանի զինված ուժերը կանեն հնարավորը սահմանամերձ շրջաններում անվտանգության և խաղաղության պահպանման համար և չեն հանդուրժի միջազգային իրավունքի խախտումները: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայակոչելով իրանական Mehr-ը,  անդրադառնալով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությանը ՝ Քիոմարս Հեյդարին հայտարարել է, որ Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը համառորեն կոչ է անում երկու կողմերին լուծել իրենց խնդիրները քաղաքական ճանապարհով:

«Տարածաշրջանի աշխարհաքաղաքականության պահպանումը մեր կարմիր գիծն է, եւ ոչ մի իշխանության  չի թույլատրվի փոխել տարածաշրջանի աշխարհագրությունը, և մենք դա չենք հանդուրժի», - նշել է նա:

Հեյդարին ասել է, որ  բանակի ցամաքային զորքերը տեղակայվել են սահմանամերձ շրջաններում, և նրանք բոլոր ջանքերը կգործադրեն տարածաշրջանում անվտանգության և խաղաղության պահպանման համար:
