Որոշում է կայացվել դիմել Ռուսաստանին՝ ելնելով ստեղծված իրավիճակից: Այս մասին խորհրդարանում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում հայտարարել է ՀՀ փոխվարչապետ Մհեր Գրիգորյանը:

«Ֆունդամենտալ, բազային համաձայնագիրը հենց 1997 թվականի հայ-ռուսական համաձայնագիրն է, որի վրա հղում է արվել: Իսկ պահը որոշվել է այն հանգամանքից, թե ինչ է կատարվում ռազմական իրավիճակի հետ կապված: Կարծում եմ՝ ինչ-որ պահ է եկել, որ կուտակումները կամ դիսլոկացիան վկայել է այն մասին, որ ճիշտ կլինի արդեն իսկ այս պահին դիմել, որովհետեւ երեւի կար իրավիճակ, որը համարվեց, որ վտանգ է կամ սպառնալիք է, այդ թվում նաեւ ՀՀ սահմանների համար:

Վստահ եմ, որ այս ամենը վերլուծվել է եւ զինվորականների վերլուծություններն այս իմաստով մեծ նշանակություն ունեն»,-ընդգծեց նա:
