Նշվում է, որ ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի հետ առաջինը կհանդիպի Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ջեյհուն Բայրամովը, որից հետո տեղի կունենա Պոմպեոյի հանդիպումը Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանի հետ:

Նշվում է նաև, որ ԱՄՆ-ում Ադրբեջանի դեսպան Էլին Սուլեյմանովը չի բացառել Վաշինգտոնում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների հանդիպման հնարավորությունը:

Կայքը հավելում է, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների՝ նույն օրը Վաշինգտոն այցը վկայում է այն մասին, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ակտիվացնում է ԼՂ հակամարտության գոտում  լարվածությունը թուլացնելու  ջանքերը:
