«1991-1994 թվականների Արցախյան պատերազմում, որ տևեց մոտավորապես 1000 օր, հայկական կողմը ունեցել է ծանր, ծանրագույն, անգամ անհուսալի թվացող ժամանակահատվածներ:

Ավելին, մենք ունեցել ենք նաև խուճապային պահեր, սակայն բոլոր դեպքերում, կարողացել ենք հաղթահարել և հասնել 1994-ի մայիսյան զինադադարին, որը հայկական դիվանագիտությանը տվել է ամուր դիրք բանակցային գործընթացում»:
